Taman Suropati, Suropati Park, on Weekends

Suropati Park is one of the city parks in Jakarta. Suropati Park is located in Menteng Area, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. This park has been around for a long time. The name of this park is taken from the name of Indonesia’s national hero, Untung Suropati.

In this park are placed 6 statues of artists from the founding countries of ASEAN*:

  1. Lee Kian Seng, from Malaysia, title “Peace, Harmony and Unity”
  2. Wee Beng Chong, from Singapore, title “Spirit of ASEAN”
  3. Sunaryo, from Indonesia, title “Peace”
  4. Nonthivathn Chandhanapalin, from Thailand, title “Brotherhood”
  5. Awang HJ Latirf Aspar, from Brunei Darussalam, title “Harmony”
  6. Luis E. Yee Jr., from the Philippines, title “Rebirth”

This park is very shady with trees and various plants.There are also pigeons kept in this park. Sometimes we can also see some small birds or small squirrels.There is also an interesting fountain to look at, as well as an automatic watering process.

In this park we can do many things;

  • Sitting relaxed while enjoying the green plants and trees in the garden.
  • Feeding the pigeons.
  • Reading the books provided on the bookshelf in the garden area.
  • Jogging or taking a walk in the park area,.
  • Doing Picnic and play with family and friends
  • Doing gathering activities with friends or colleagues
  • Discussion or doing activities that you like together with the community
  • Doing photography or videography activities, There are many interesting objects to create interesting content.
  • And other positive activities.

To be able to enjoy the beauty of this park, we are free of charge. Only if we bring a private vehicle we pay for parking. Enjoy, always keep your attitude and environment clean.

Taman Suropati adalah salah satu taman kota di Jakarta. Taman Suropati ini terletak di Kawasan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia. Taman ini sudah ada sejak lama. Nama taman ini diambil dari nama pahlawan nasional Indonesia, Untung Suropati.

Di taman ini diletakkan 6 patung dari seniman-seniman dari negara-negara pendiri ASEAN* :

  1. Lee Kian Seng, Malaysia, judul “Perdamaian, Harmonis, dan Bersatu”
  2. Wee Beng Chong, Singapura, judul “Semangat ASEAN”
  3. Sunaryo, asal Indonesia, simbol “Perdamaian”
  4. Nonthivathn Chandhanapalin, asal Thailand, judul “Persaudaraan”
  5. Awang HJ Latirf Aspar, asal Brunei Darussalam, judul “Keharmonisan”
  6. Luis E. Yee Jr., asal Filipina, judul “Kelahiran Kembali”

Taman ini sangat rindang dengan pepohonan dan berbagai tanaman. Ada juga burung merpati yang dipelihara di taman ini. Terkadang kita juga bisa melihat beberapa burung kecil atau tupai kecil. Ada juga air mancur menarik untuk dilihat, serta proses penyiraman tanaman secara otomatis.

Di taman ini kita bisa melakukan banyak hal;

  • Duduk dengan santai sambil menikmati hijaunya tanaman dan pepohonan di taman.
    -Memberi makan burung merpati.
    -Membaca buku-buku yang disediakan di rak buku di area taman.
  • Jogging atau berjalan-jalan di area taman,.
  • Piknik dan bermain bersama keluarga dan teman-teman
  • Melakukan kegiatan gathering dengan teman atau kolega
    -Diskusi atau melakukan kegiatan yang disukai bersama-sama dengan komunitas
  • Melakukan kegiatan fotography atau videography, Ada banyak objek menarik untuk dibuat konten yang menarik.
  • dan kegiatan positif lainnya.

Untuk bisa menikmati keindahan taman ini, kita tidak dipungut biaya. Hanya jika membawa kendaraan pribadi kita membayar parkir. Selamat menikmati, jaga selalu sikap dan kebersihan lingkungan ya.
